“A fantastic, vocally flexible singer, who impresses audiences and colleagues with her admirably professional working style and impressive stage presence.”
“I had the pleasure of working as a composer and conductor together with Irina Marinas. The first time was when she did the title role in my opera Emilia Galotti and the second time was when she sang a spectacular Adina in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore. In both roles she showcased her wonderful balance between precision and expressivity, and also her outstanding acting skills.”
“Irina has a wonderful lyric, light-lyric soprano voice with a colour perfectly suited for Mozart, Rossini and Donizetti roles. Her artistic sensitivity and her performing talent allow her to touch the audiences’ hearts from the very first moment and to carry them into the drama of the opera.”
“As Adina she is perfectly cast. Ms. Marinas has a distinct timbre which can convey from a smile to a small tear in the voice. Moreover, she is an outstanding actress in this role.”
“The demanding part of the maid Susanna is in good hands with Irina Marinas. The soprano can, with her exceptional timbre, make a statement: she is at home in this role and stands out as a great Mozart Stylist”
“Performing is the way I connect with other people. Being on stage and telling a story turns my heart inside out. That’s what life is all about: feeling alive, feeling that heartbeat, which ultimately makes us embrace our humanity and connects us with each other.”
